34th International Society for Animal Genetics Conference

Dr. Schook and Kyle Schachtschneider will be attending the 34th International Society for Animal Genetics (ISAG) Conference in Xi’an, China on July 28 – August 1, 2014.

Dr. Schook was invited as a plenary speaker and will present a lecture entitled, "Unraveling the swine genome: Implications for human health."

Kyle submitted an abstract entitled, "The International Swine Methylome Consortium (ISMC): Supporting Epigenomics and Biomedical Research" and was chosen to give an oral presentation.

ISAG focuses on immunogenetics, molecular genetics, and functional genomics.  The conference enables international researchers to share cutting edge scientific discoveries.
