Kidder, Isaac

Univ. Illinois at Urbana-Champaign

Isaac Kidder joined the Oncopig Team at the Comparative Genomics Laboratory at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in November 2016. He assists the lab with data organization and management, development of Standard Operating Procedures, and implementation, including the establishment of the TRIO consortium. He graduated from St. Olaf College in Northfield, MN in 2006 with a Bachelor of Arts double degree in Biology and Studio Art. In addition to his work with the lab, Isaac is also an accomplished artist (painter, sculptor, photographer, drawer) and a multi-instrumentalist (voice, piano, drums, guitar, bass, French horn). If he’s not crafting data organizational solutions on a computer, painting a canvas or playing the guitar, chances are he is out in nature riding his bicycle (or motorcycle) looking for a peaceful hiking spot amongst water and trees. Currently Isaac resides in Minneapolis, MN with his cat Daisy.
